Thoughts And Offerings On Mothers Day
My mom died more than 20 years ago. Sadly, we did not have a good relationship and yet, there were moments I remember that let me know that I was loved. These past many years have brought me to understand and accept our relationship for what it was. I don’t feel sorry for myself because of what I did not have. Rather, I have grown to respect and cherish the relationships I see between mom and child. There is such beauty and emotion there. So, on this mothers day, I wish all moms and such, best wishes for meaningful moments with your children and beyond.
The ring below, a custom order from Turtle Jewelry Designs, is a Mothers Day gift to a mother-in-law. Her children are both October babies (and so am I).
So, two stones from that month, an opal (triplet) and a green tourmaline were chosen for this embossed wrap ring. I imagine this mom having a meaningful moment upon opening her gift. This gratifies me.
